Northern-Irish Ghanaian pop artist Winnie Ama has emerged as a standout talent over the past few years. Described as a 'modern day Renaissance woman', in 2024, she was recognised by The Belfast Telegraph and The Irish Times as 'One to Watch'. Initial recognition for her energetic live performances was noted by BBC Introducing ATL in 2022. Her 2023 single "Awe of You" reached #40 on the Irish Airplay Chart, and she earned the RTE2FM 'Rising Artist' title along with a 'Rising Star' gold disk from Ditto alongside Myles Smith and mustbejohn. Currently writing her debut album, supported by a PRS Power Up grant, Winnie also mentors artists and publicly advocates for mental health, wellbeing, and inclusion.
