Damaris Bojor
Dámaris Bojor is an emerging artist from Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, known for her unique genre, Folkpirano—a blend of regional Mexican campirano, American folk, and country. Her sound is shaped by the contrasting landscapes of Sonora, from its harsh desert to the lush forests of Yécora. A former painter, Dámaris integrates visual art into her music, often showcasing her oil paintings alongside her releases.
Her debut album, Folkpirana, is set to release in March 2025 and is produced by Iván De La Rioja (Daniel, Me Estás Matando). The album features the singles "Nube De Paso" and "Volar" (with Juan Cirerol), the latter being named one of NPR's best songs of 2024. Dámaris was also featured on NPR's Alt.Latino, further boosting her visibility.
