Zamaera

Zamaera, a versatile rapper and singer-songwriter from Subang Jaya, Malaysia, began her entertainment journey at age 9 as a children's TV host. Her passion for storytelling led to songwriting, and by 2013, she featured on the "Havoc" album by Malaysia's hip hop pioneer, Joe Flizzow. In 2016, Zamaera was the only female finalist in the Red Bull Blend Cypher rap battle, solidifying her position in the industry.

Her 2017 debut single, "Helly Kelly," marked her entry into the Malaysian hip-hop scene, and she later signed with Lakefront Records. Her EP *Z vs Z* led to opening for major artists like Masego, SZA, and Vince Staples. In 2019, her hit "Get Munni" with Lil Asian Thiccie gained significant traction which led to her feature as a main host in YO!MTV Raps Asia.

Zamaera's passion for empowering women culminated in founding Mean Malaya Entertainment and organizing Southeast Asia's first all-female music festival, Queendomfest, in 2023. Aligning in the footsteps of Doechii, Erykah Badu and Doja Cat, she is set to redefine her sound, blending techno, baile funk, hip hop and rnb and is poised to take the music world by storm, with a fresh new sound in 2025.
