Mixing alt-rock, shoegaze & power pop, Wynona Bleach signed to Legendary label Fierce Panda Records (Coldplay, Placebo) in 2021. Their acclaimed debut “Moonsoake” (Feb 2022) was recorded with Bill Ryder-Jones in an abandoned factory in Portugal, after being personally chosen to support Alice in Chains on the irish leg of their world tour. Formed in 2018, as a previous outfit they performed at Reading & Leeds festivals, & a 12 date headline tour of Russia (covering 6500 miles). A UK tour coincided with the release of the debut, & saw the band nominated for the NI Music Prize for both Album & Live act in ‘22. Appearances at Other Voices Festival were followed by showcases at SXSW ’23, New Colossus Festival, a full UK/IRL tour incl. Ireland Music Week 2023, and a 5 date tour supporting Ash. In March ’24, in their bastardised studio space above a dive bar in west Belfast, they began recording their 2nd album with co production by Andy Bradfield and Avril Mackintosh (Björk, The XX, Manic st.Preachers, Bryan Adams) expected to be released in '25. They released the singles “Swim in the Bay” and “I Deserve That” ahead of an 11 date headline UK tour in October '25.
