Beth McCarthy

York-born Beth McCarthy is a pop-rock artist is a leading voice in the LGBTQ+ community. Her journey kickstarted in 2021 when her song “She Gets The Flowers” exploded on the internet. Followed by her viral EP “IDK How To Talk To Girls”, which got over 80M views across platforms. The 5-track guitar driven EP accumulated tens of millions of streams, with a UK & Europe tour (over 7,000 tickets) that sold out in minutes.
Beth’s next single “Good Bi” caught the attention of millions, including Olly Alexander and G-Flip, and big BBC R1 support. She played mainstage at major UK & EU festivals, including the iconic BBC R1's Big Weekend. As well as Reeperbahn Festival, where Beth was nominated for The International Music Anchor Award 2024. Beth also supported Caity Baser, Anne Marie and MNEK earlier this year and sold out her first Australian tour!
Beth’s next project is out in the new year, with the first single “All My Friends Are Hot” releasing this December. After being nominated as "Newcomer of the Year" for Northern Music Awards 2025, the rest of 2025 is nothing but exciting, with Beth’s first US headline and a 20,000 ticket UK & EU tour, headlining at O2 Forum Kentish Town, London!
