Emmeline is a lyrical polymath and fierce force in the UK music and poetry scene. Spanning genres of spoken-word, alternative hip-hip hop, and trip-hop, her music arrives fresh from the London underground, taking inspiration from artists such as The Streets, who she supported on tour last year. Emmeline broke out into recognition in 2022, by collaborating with UK super producer Fraser T. Smith (Dave, Stormzy, Adele), but has since carved out a unique sonic aesthetic after signing with indie record label Lewis Recordings (Skinshape, Jehst). Her latest mixtape Shapes, Shadows, DVDs is a heady and experimental exposé of the inner workings of her mind, and features a variety of UK production talent.
