Soda Blonde
Soda Blonde are an alt-pop band from Dublin, Ireland, formed in 2019 by former members of the critically acclaimed Little Green Cars. Fronted by Faye O’Rourke (vocals, songwriting), alongside Adam O’Regan (guitar, production), Dylan Lynch (drums), and Donagh Seaver O’Leary (bass), the band is known for their atmospheric synths, glassy guitars, dynamic rhythms, and introspective lyrics that explore identity, relationships, and self-discovery.
Their debut album Small Talk (2021) earned a Choice Music Prize nomination, praised for its cinematic soundscapes and sharp social commentary. The follow-up, Dream Big (2023), continued their success with bold arrangements and fresh production.
In 2024, Soda Blonde released their latest single, “Bully”, which Nialler9 described as having “a bright Talking Heads / Cut Copy ’80s vibe in the best way.” The track has received strong radio support from BBC Radio 2 and 6 Music.
With a sold-out orchestral performance at Dublin’s National Concert Hall and new music on the way, Soda Blonde is set to bring their eclectic and captivating sound to SXSW 2025.
