Cloth are Scottish twins Rachael and Paul Swinton. Championed by BBC Radio 6 Music DJs Mary Anne Hobbs, Huw Stephens, Steve Lamacq and Guy Garvey, the band’s new album, ‘Pink Silence’ will be released on April 25th 2025 via Mogwai’s Rock Action Records.

Produced by Ali Chant (Perfume Genius, PJ Harvey, Yard Act), Pink Silence comes after the band shared new singles ‘Golden’ and ‘Polaroid’, their first new music since the release of their acclaimed and Scottish Album Of The Year Award nominated 2023 album for Rock Action, Secret Measure. Blending intricate alt-rock guitar interplay with Rachael’s signature gossamer-thin vocal, Secret Measure received critical acclaim from publications including The Guardian, Pitchfork, CLASH and Uncut and was shortlisted for the 2023 Scottish Album of the Year (SAY) Award.

Pink Silence is the sound of Cloth realising the growing pop streak that they’ve long-threatened to bring to the fore, full of the kind of rewarding ruminations that continue to make them one of today’s most exciting bands.
