In this two-hour session, we will crack open some of the legal mysteries of film production. How do you raise money for your film? How do you clear stuff for use in your film? Do you need an LLC? The presentation will be in human-readable English (read: minimal legal jargon) and include entertaining visual examples so that key concepts are communicated in an accessible way. You will leave feeling empowered to embark on your next film project with a basic understanding of key legal principles. The first 90 minutes of the workshop will be dedicated to answering key production questions, and the remainder of the workshop will be open to friendly discussion and a lively Q&A.
