Responding to extreme weather patterns, disasters associated with climate change and threats to critical infrastructure is a growing concern globally. Virtual worlds or digital twins of communities built using AI, 3D/2D models, and maps combined with popular game engines -- Unity and Unreal, can put climate solutions at the fingertips of academicians, community leaders, city planners + AEC (architecture engineering and construction) firms.
This session will demonstrate the latest gamification and technology advances that are being used to tackle climate change from planning to policy.
