They allowed consumers to spend money how and where they wanted, at a time when institutions would not. Today, the same opportunity exists for those meeting consumer demands to transact in digital currencies. Crypto has laid the foundation for a modern global payment system that offers faster, cheaper, and more accessible transactions. But to go mainstream, crypto payments must be secure and intuitive.
