Using Augmented Reality to Drive Inclusive City Development
City planning is too slow for the pace of change required in cities today. Facing climate change, housing shortage, and mass urbanization, cities must adapt fast and effectively, but the obsolete systems prevent equity in planning, leading to a lack of trust between residents and industry professionals.
Augmented Reality has the power to foster collaboration around urban change in a highly accessible manner. Tangible visualizations of future skylines and streets establish equity and restore trust and transparency into how cities, developers, and citizens interact around their shared future.
