How Autonomous Vehicles Provide Accessible Transportation

Lauren Schwendimann, Waymo One Head of UX Design, Emily Coleman, Superintendent of the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, Bee Martin Lee, CEO at Epilepsy Foundation Of America, and Camille Ridley, VP of Marketing & Development at United Cerebral Palsy of Central Arizona will discuss disparities the disabled community faces when it comes to transportation, and how autonomous ride-hailing services are a safe and accessible option. They’ll discuss challenges traditional transportation impose on the disabled community, and solutions AVs provide, increasing access to safe mobility.
