Air travel is undergoing a period of rapid innovation as airports, airlines, and technology companies work together to create a more efficient, sustainable, and passenger-friendly experience. With support from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and Southwest Airlines, the Ford International Airport created FLITE, one of the first airport-based initiatives in the nation to provide grants and live environment testing to companies focused on bringing emerging air travel technology solutions to market.
