Nothing About Us Without Us - Patient-Driven Autism Research

Mar 10, 2024

11:30am – 12:30pm CT

Autistic people are speaking out about how they experience autism. Their voices highlight a disconnect between their points of view and those of non-autistic doctors, therapists, and community organizations. How will they change the kinds of research questions and therapeutic interventions that come next?

This panel brings together autism-focused clinicians and researchers with adult Autistic people. We’ll discuss barriers and opportunities to integrate the needs and desires of neurodivergent people into future clinical trials that are focused on patient-centered outcomes.
