There is a great dislocation between the claim that tech can save the world and how tech capital flows. An enormous cohort of founders is best positioned to tackle global challenges: they come from places where problems are; advocate for open source; and see beyond infinite profit and power. Yet globally less than 10% of venture capital goes into emerging markets. This session will challenge current models of tech development, equity and power distribution.
