If you are interested, join our Slack community. It’s dedicated to students and young people attending SXSW. Here’s the link to join Slack:

In this Slack community, you will:

Stay updated on the meetup.
Discover SXSW sessions you should join, tailored to your interests.
Connect with creative young minds from all over the world.
Find potential collaborators for your projects.

Is It a Hackathon? Or a Meetup?

Well, it's neither a typical hackathon nor a standard meetup. We're organizing workshops designed to help participants make connections, discover collaboration opportunities, and potentially kick-start new projects together. We’ll share more details in Slack.
We welcome individuals from all backgrounds—not just software engineers but also those in other tech fields, music, film, arts, marketing, and even poetry!

Who's Organizing?

A student team from The University of Tokyo! We are exhibiting at the Expo with 5 student startups (and pre-startups):

An AI for automatic movie dubbing, tailored for anime.
AI training and analytics systems dedicated for soccer goalkeepers.
An innovative haptics device enabling unique and immersive experiences.
Sphere-shaped robots designed for outdoor use.
Ultra-low-latency video transfer technology to remotely control fast-moving objects.
You will see them at this meetup too!

Programming descriptions are generated by participants and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of SXSW.
