Benjamin Walker at Vaquero Taquero

Benjamin Walker's music draws on Latin American folklore, pop and indie folk. Latin GRAMMY nominee as Best New Artist (2018), guitarist, singer and songwriter, he began his career at the age of 21 making his first record called "Felicidad" (2014), an album that earned him the 2015 PULSAR Award for Best New Artist in Santiago de Chile, his homecity.

With his next album, "Brotes" (2017), influenced by songwriters that goes from Victor Jara to Nick Drake, he managed to establish himself as a benchmark of his generation, receiving a nomination for Best Songwriter at the same awards.

During 2021, already established in Mexico City, he released his third LP Libro Abierto (2021), an album that features collaborations with Vanessa Zamora, Silvana Estrada and with the Argentine duo Perotá Chingo. He is now promoting LIBRE (2024), his new LP under Alacran Records (London, UK) deeply influenced by contemporary american folk.

Benjamín has performed in festivals such as Lollapalooza Chile and Cosquín Rock in Argentina; He has also been invited as guest performer by artists such as Jorge Drexler, Jack Johnson, Silvana Estrada, Carlos Rivera and Inti-Illimani.
