DJ Danny Ritmo, born in Mexico City moved to Texas as a young kid. Here he began his musical journey as a classically trained bass player at the age of twelve. He would find his love for music in the city of Austin, "The Live Musical Capital of The World." His love for music quickly rose to new heights leading him to the art of Djing.
With over ten years of experience, Danny along with his charm and musical knowledge has played all across the Lone Star State and has taken his skills internationally to Europe and Mexico.
Danny currently holds a residency at "Mala Vida" in Austin's Sixth Street District. Other past residencies include Voodoo Room, Gloria's Downtown, Gloria's Domain, The Rose Room, Deseo and Copa.
Danny Ritmo has quickly become one of the leading Djs in Austin's Latin DJ scene. His mixes can currently be heard on Mega 102.7 FM "Mega Mix."
Danny Ritmo has opened for artist like Rubén Albarrán of Café Tacuva, Oro Solido, Casper Mágico, Carin León, Duelo, El Mimoso, Luis Ángel El Flaco, and among others.
