Brother Thunder at Speakeasy

Date TBA

Brother Thunder is a vibrant fusion of soul and rock that found it's beginnings in the heart of Austin, Texas, 2020. With a dynamic lineup and an eclectic blend of musical influences, this band exudes an electrifying energy that captivates audiences worldwide. The project was formed originally by native Austinite Chris Pena, and Mississippi's own Keith Sanders after Chris had moved back to Austin from NYC, and Keith found a home in the lone star state for the first time. The first year of the band was focused on writing and picking up band members Angelo Dulang(bass), Justin Malone (percussion), and Jacob Rapp (drums) before recording their first release, Into the Fire EP. The last day of recording would also be the day of their first show. A year later John Cherry would join the ranks on keys. In 2023 Brother Thunder hit a highwater mark by playing the Austin City Limits Festival on the BMI stage and receiving a grant to fund their next recording endeavor.
