Over the course of the last three years, BHM Pezzy has emerged as one of the most promising voices coming out of Atlanta’s independent rap scene. A true native of the city, Pezzy grew up drawing inspiration not only from life and those around him, but from some of the most creative wordsmiths in the game from Atlanta and beyond. By the time he reached high school, it had become obvious that his casual interest in music was growing into something more. He partnered with a neighborhood friend to release his first mixtape, Trust Me Now, Hate Me Later, and knew from the feedback that he was onto something. Pezzy recognized very early on that in a city of “superstars” like Atlanta, he would have to find a way to stand out in order to attract an audience. He quickly became known for his witty punchlines - often adding levity and a poignant element to his verses - which remains a signature of his musical style to this day.
