Harvey Whyte
Harvey Whyte is a rapper, self-taught pianist & producer, born & bred in Hackney, London.
Not many rappers can perform as well in front of a mic as they can behind a piano, but his evolution continues to amaze anyone who crosses his path. Harvey’s piano-rap fusion is paired with clever wordplay & vivid storytelling abilities which can only be found in the DNA of an inner-city musician.
His style spans multiple genres; from hip hop, trap, neo-soul, alt RnB to jazz & electronic. It’s this versatility, alongside his skills as a producer, that’s also put him top of the collaborators’ list. In the past 2 years he has worked alongside Sigma, Footsie, Greentea Peng, KeepVibesNear, Luke RV & Fatima.
He released his debut solo EP ‘East 2 West’ Aug '22, followed by a series of tracks which feature on his debut album ‘Piano Rap’ Sept '23.
During that time he has seen his fanbase grow globally. Last year a clip of him performing ‘Mocktails and Weed’ went viral on IG & also garnered him some celebrity followers; SZA even commented & DM’d him! He's also been wowing audiences performing live with his own unique brand of ‘piano rap'.
His second album ‘Fatalism’ will be released Summer '24.
