A House Is Not A Disco is screening as part of the SXSW Film & TV Festival:

Simon Leoza (formerly known as Tambour) is a Montreal-based multi-instrumentalist and composer whose pieces are at times contemplative and sensitive, at other times lively and poignant, straddling neoclassical, ambient pop and electronic music.

Leoza is known for combining his musical world with scenic art and cinematic universes, earning his projects multiple awards and nominations around the globe. The artist has also composed original scores for several short films, documentaries, plays and dance productions, including the 2024 Oscar nominated short film Invincible and the documentary A House Is Not A Disco, which will premiere at SXSW.

Following the success of his debut album Albatross and a tour of over fifty concerts, Simon Leoza recently announced his new album ACTE III, a kaleidoscope of vibrant colors and bold contrasts inspired by the movement and abundance of the human experience. Progressively deployed over time, Scène I, Scène II and Scène III will feature on Simon Leoza's next album, available on March 22nd 2024.
