IZARO at International Day Stage
She was born on a New Year's Eve almost 30 years ago. She published her collection of songs Limones de oro (2022), surrounded by friends. Among others, she has collaborated with Zahara, Amaral, Belako, Daymé Arocena, Carla Sariñana, Bratty, etc. With the strength that comes from such a support system, she has managed to become the first woman to fill the Anoeta Velodrome in San Sebastián and sold 6,000 tickets. And with that momentum she has also reached Paris, Buenos Aires, Helsinki and 20 other Spanish cities.
Her last concert was in Madrid, in January 2023, after 116 performances. Thanks to her care and work preparing those live shows, she won the best live performance category at the Gaztea 2023 awards. She was also named artist of the year, awarded by the newspaper DEIA. In recent years, however, she has not only performed on stage; her songs have also been heard in the Netflix tv shows Who Is Erin Carter? and Intimidad and in the film El Vasco.
The conceptual album Cerodenero (2023) is her new gift.
