Lucaa at The Iron Bear

Date TBA

From the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina but currently living between NYC and DC, Lucaa is the brainchild of singer/songwriter/producer Stepha, a 2spirit Indigenous artist from A Ni Sa Ho Ni (Cherokee-Blue/Medicine clan) and Arapaho ancestry.

Stepha cultivated their musical curiosity by learning from their father (a backup singer for Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson) and mother (an opera singer). Now, their honed approach to alt-pop harnesses influences from Radiohead, Billie Eilish, girl in red and Samantha Crain.

Though in its infancy, Lucaa’s career is growing quickly. In just a few months their music has been featured on CBS’s 'FBI’, One's To Watch, and they are collaborating with grammy-nominated producer Rob Kleiner (Euphoria, Labrinth, and Billie Eilish). Lucaa also played the We Found New Music showcase in LA which helped launch Billie Eilish and Sigrid's careers. Alongside a string of notable branding collaborations, Lucaa has partnered with 4KINSHIP and IMOD to perform an international showcase alongside Notorious Cree.

Through Lucaa, Stepha is on their way to bringing Indigenous representation to the mainstream music space through their expression and voice.
