Andrew Gould
Native New Yorker, saxophonist Andrew Gould has established himself as one of the most in demand players on the NYC music scene.
Having worked with notable artists such as Ron Carter, Wallace Roney, Jon Faddis, the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, Mambo Legends Orchestra, Mac Miller, Fifth Harmony, Ray Angry, Bobby Sanabria, the Scary Pockets, and many more, he also is a notable bandleader in his own right. Recently he released his 3rd studio album “Pull Up a Chair” (Dec 2023) on the Pinch Records label, and continues to perform as both a leader and sideman throughout the world.
Additionally, his work with the 8 Bit Big Band was recently featured on “Meta Knights Revenge”, which won a GRAMMY in 2021 and he’s contributed to multiple recent GRAMMY nominated recordings, as well as having recorded for HBO, Sony, MTV, Universal, Warner Bros, Capitol Records, and has performed live on the Today Show, ABC News, “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”, and was a 2013 Thelonious Monk Saxophone Competition Semi Finalist.
Andrew remains active as a teacher at the New School, Jazz Lesson Videos, and teaches masterclasses and lessons to students of all levels.
