Desiree Cannon is a country folk musician based in Northern California who sings lonesome songs about love, truth and imagination. Influenced by the genre’s legends, such as Townes Van Zandt, Waylon Jennings, Lucinda Williams and Kiki Cavazos, Cannon’s music uses her voice and guitar to explore questions and observations of life. Her debut LP Beach Sleeper was released by The Long Road Society in 2018. Her forthcoming record, co-produced with New Orleans based musician and producer Sam Doores (The Deslondes), is set to release February, 2024 as a collaboration between The Long Road Society and Gar Hole Records.
