JOSEON
JOSEON is a four piece Korean-American psychedelic rock band and artistic collective revitalizing the Los Angeles music scene. They take a genre blurring, innovative approach in blending elements of 90s rock, psychedelia, and 60s melody into something unmistakably their own. The group’s emotional and high-octane live shows are a testament to the sheer power of their craft in its rawest, most visceral form. Their progressive take on timeless art shines through not only the music, but also their carefully tailored aesthetic. Unbridled and intense but paradoxically restrained and calculated, the sound, much like the band itself, is constantly evolving. The only unchanging facet of the group is their unwavering commitment as performers and artists to pull the audience headlong into their dreamlike world.
Their debut EP, YOUTHiNASiA, is their first foray into capturing their larger than life live sound and performance. With a footing in writing, recording, and performance, JOSEON continues to sharpen the focus of their vision. Swirling with ethereal, psychedelic colors intent on investigating oneself, the city of Los Angeles is proud to invite listeners to something new: JOSEON.
