Hause Plants at Esther's Follies
Since 2021, Hause Plants have become one of the hardest-working bands in Portugal.
Hause Plants quickly rose to prominence in Lisbon, and they were ready to expand elsewhere. In 2022, the band moved to Williamsburg, Brooklyn, where they explored New York's fast-paced lifestyle, Lower East Side’s dive bars and Brooklyn’s warehouse parties, and they were quickly embraced by the city's indie scene.
2023 was a breakthrough year for Hause Plants, with their nomination for the Music Moves Europe Awards, the European Union ceremony that distinguish Europe’s best new talent, a performance at Eurosonic Noorderslag, considered by Clash Magazine one of the best showcases of the festival, their first self-booked European tour with the help from the Liveurope initiative and an appearance at FOCUS Wales, in Wrexham.
In June, the band is set to release their latest EP, ‘Field Trip To Coney Island EP’, via Spirit Goth, featuring five jangle-pop and indie rock songs that make up Guilherme's most mature, complex, and meticulous work to date, filled with intimate lyrics, explosive choruses and gleeful guitars reimagined into surprising song structures and blissful experimentation.
