Lisa Morales at Continental Club
The Latin influences that run throughout Lisa Morales’ music are a nod to Morales' childhood in Tucson, Arizona, where she grew up surrounded by traditional Mexican music. Her cousin, Linda Ronstadt, is a pop legend in her own right, and Morales continued the family tradition by forming a critically-acclaimed duo, Sisters Morales, with her sister Roberta. They released six albums together before Roberta passed away in August 2021. Lisa Morales continues to blur the boundaries between genre and culture. Morales’ songwriting talents live in both English and Spanish and bring to the forefront her powerful vocals and her belief in the power of women. "One of the most multifaceted artists to watch." Rolling Stone .."All together, a varied collection of Southwestern Americana, rich with emotion and motivated with a lot to say." The Austin Chronicle “..one of the best artists of this generation and an incredible storyteller.” Tejano Backstage Magazine
