At the age of 20, he moved to Los Angeles, California, knowing no one, pursuing his dream of becoming a singer. He recorded his first professional EPs with the money he earned on the Santa Monica Pier, California, as a street performer. He was a finalist on La Voz US, alongside his coach Carlos Vives, Jimmy Rodríguez released his new single "EL RUMBÓN" in collaboration with Motiff and Tony Succar (Latin Grammy Winners) this singel is produced by Motiff who has produced hits for artists such as Marc Anthony, Gente de Zona, Maluma and many more.
