Adaline

Canadian alt-pop artist Adaline fuses powerfully evocative music with an unbound lyrical honesty. This authenticity appeals to her growing fanbase and is why she is considered "one of the best songwriters in the country" (CBC Q) and "a rising Canadian talent that takes listeners to angelic heights" (Billboard).
Featured in over 90 film and TV scenes including multiple songs on Grey’s Anatomy, Wynonna Earp, and Below Her Mouth, she also collaborated on the score for "The Canyons " with Brendan Canning of Broken Social Scene and did a composer residency at the Canadian Film Centre.
Upcoming album "Hymnal", produced by Chris Coady (Beach House, Future Islands), is inspired by her journey of reconciling queerness with her religious upbringing, and by the stories of The Bad Believer community, a non-profit she founded that helps LGBTQ+ people with religious trauma. It opens with "Brave", about the vulnerability of coming out, then explores the heartbreak of being rejected by community, and the failure of a church system to embody the kind of love they preach. It closes with a love letter to her parents, "What Love is All About", showcasing the power of love when one is fully accepted
