Powerhouse trio in Austin, Texas. Formed in 2013 by New Jersey native Lindsey Mackin ( vocal-guitarist and songwriter) joined by Derek Strahan on bass, and Nick Cornetti on the drums. The 2015 debut album Watermelon Summer came out thundering in the Texas heat spooky and swirling. Annabelle Chairlegs quickly became a local favorite and a festival staple. Their sophomore album Gotta Be in Love released in 2020 with a dream-like music video for “Outside” won them an Austin Music Award for Best Music Video. Chairlegs third album (produced by Ty Segall) is set to be released within the year.
