LCLS

LCLS (pronounced 'LOCALS') is a four-piece band out of Austin, Texas, that seamlessly bridges the nostalgic vibes of 90s indie-rock/college radio with a fresh, modern sound. Drawing inspiration from iconic 90s bands like Pixies, Dinosaur Jr, and Built to Spill, LCLS infuses their music with melodic vocals and fuzzy guitar riffs. Despite the nod to the past, LCLS maintains a contemporary edge, incorporating post-punk and alternative rock elements into their sound. Their upcoming "Goner EP" – mixed by Adam Gibbs (The Black Angels, Heartless Bastards) and mastered by Howie Weinberg (Sonic Youth, Nirvana) — will be out this Spring courtesy of The Noise Company. LCLS is comprised of Matt Dawson (lead vocals & rhythm guitar), Ross Loftin (lead guitar), Ben Humphreys (drums), and Ben Catchings (bass & vocals).
