While Rock n' Roll may be what he's known for, Robin Mordecai has always had a deep love for jazz. Raised by a jazz trombonist(Dad) and Latin percussionist(Mom) he learned to appreciate jazz at a very young age. He quickly was drawn to the drums by watching the greats such as Buddy Rich, Butch Miles, Steve Gadd, Elvin Jones, Peter Erskine, and many more. Robin brings his jazz trio to the room that raised him, The Elephant Room, for SXSW 2024 with Michael Stevens on Bass and Pierson Keating on Piano this will be a set you don't want to miss.
