Hailing from Santa Ana, CA & now based in Leimert Park, Los Angeles -- ISSAMAU is a DJ, playlist curator, & multimedia artist.

As a member of the Portland-based collective, Better Together, Mau fosters unique experiences for audiences through music, photography & community building. As host of Rotation Radio, Mau has created a space for listeners to be introduced to up & coming artists in the R&B space. Some of their favorite music genres are: funk, 90’s 2000’s R&B and hip hop, afrobeats, house, and rap.

Mau is a resident DJ for Rhythm n Vibes - an R&B live showcase in Los Angeles. Mau's music style is influenced by J Dilla, the Neptune's, Sade, Erykah Badu, Kaytranada & Soulection.
