Delaney Ramsdell
Delaney Ramsdell is a songwriter and artist based in Nashville, TN. Originally from Roosevelt, Texas (population 18),Delaney is a signed songwriter at One Riot Music and comes at songwriting with a method steeped in the culture of West Texas. Adobe and Teardrops calls her voice and writing “imbued with certainty, confidence, and a special crystal-clear quality.”
As a songwriter, her cuts have racked up over 20 million streams to date. Some of the songs and collaborators include “What Mercy did for Me” (recorded by Micah Tyler, Maranda Curtis, Jason Crabb) to “Hot Mess” (recorded by Zoe Clark) and “Lonestar Lonely” (recorded by Rachel LaRen).
Ramsdell is an alumna of Belmont University’s prestigious songwriting program graduating in 2021. During her time at Belmont, she won the ASCAP songwriters night and participated in the Best of the Best Showcase. Ramsdell has opened for Texas country artist William Beckmann, and her music has also been featured on Whiskey Riff, Country Central, Country Pickinz, The Alt-Country Show, and more.
Her critically acclaimed sophomore EP “Rambler” came out in 2023 and she has more music on the way in 2024.
