ASHMAR is a California native of a military family. Starting out a singer-songwriter, ASHMAR went on to start a collective called CRTFD (certified) with his childhood friends. He took his talents to Las Vegas where he dove into music production. He moved on to Austin, TX where you developed the true artist within, releasing tracks with his best friend and fellow artist, Shanzyan. In 2021 he started to dive into the art of DJing where he found a lot of success. Nowadays, ASHMAR rocks shows and even landed a nomination for DJ of the Year by Austin Chronicle. He’s also part of the DJ duo, The Brothers Groove, who recently released their first single “You Know It”. ASHMAR also works with fellow friend and DJ, Bambi, on a new monthly event called wav.cation, where both DJs seek other DJs who specialize in specific genres. Wav.cation is growing so much in the city of Austin.
