The Poet Engineer (Kat Zhang) is a Brooklyn-based artist, engineer, researcher and live A/V performer interested in the interrelationships between natural and artificial systems. Combining sounds and visuals, her works often evoke both primordial symbols and computational simulations, expanding and melding the vocabulary of the digital human and machine psyche.
