When LOS KEMET raps, all attention is commanded. Boasting a striking sound that spans from warm soul samples to vicious Memphis and Texas-leaning trap, the 25-year old Mississippi native wears his dirty south upbringing on his sleeve. The follow up to LOS's second solo project 'Got Drunk For The Most High,' LOS's latest EP 'Starrunner' brings an unmistakable southern bounce, fit for a drop-top Cadillac on a hot summer day. Paying homage to Young Thug in his video for "Barter 7" (with support from Kidstakeover and H0mer Radio) and the iconic Samuel L. Jackson character in the aptly titled "Jules Winnfield," LOS's detailed and ambitious visuals help tell the story of the Jackson, MS native better than any words could ever attempt. The south has got something to say, and LOS is the next chapter.
