Hailing from the mountains of Los Andes, Venezuela, NYC heavy Psych outfit Joudy synthesizes dissonant melodies, dark tones, and hypnotic rhythms into a sound somehow both austere and lush. Displaced by political unrest in their home country, the band reunited in the U.S. in 2020 and have since built a well-earned reputation for their explosive live performances, in contrast with their introspective lyricism.
