Los Choclok are a fusion project originally from Veracruz, founded in 2009, which aims to offer fresh musical alternatives with traditional roots which are based on genres such as: son jarocho, jazz, reggae, rock, folk, Latin and tropical rhythms, transmitting a new perspective that incorporates analytical and critical lyrics about the reality that directly impacts the interests and development of Mexican youth.
The band's sound is infectious and brimming with energy. It is composed of a wide variety of instruments, such as: accordion, jarana, shekeres, guitar, bass, keyboards, percussions and a brass section.
The outstanding career of this group has been performing at: Vive Latino 2015; Tajín Summit 2017; International Jazz Festival,; solo performances at the Lunario of the National Auditorium (Cdmx), achieving a sold out and they had an international tour through Bogotá, Colombia, playing in renowned forums and they will be again in the 2024 edition of Vive Latino.
