Over the past six years, Tough on Fridays has fused alt rock, indie, and grunge into dynamic rock ‘n roll, gathering massive traction. The duo, Caleigh (guitar/vocals) and Carly (bass/vocals), recently joined by Bella Sera on drums, are recognized for their riveting live performances, marking them among the top female alt-rock bands anywhere.

Their recent album, “The Encore You Didn’t Ask For” (Nov 4, 2022) has won global praise. Highlights include:
• PowerPlay: 9/10 for "Overboard!", said, "the alt-rock three piece have crystalized into something quite formidable – part grungy rock power trio, part 90s shoegaze indie noiseniks".
• Overtone Magazine: Rated the album 9/10, listing it in their 2022 Top 50.

They've performed alongside Olivia Jean, He Is We, The Dollyrots, and more. Venue appearances include Stubb's, 3Links, and Houston's House of Blues. In 2023 they were considered for Austin’s Sonic Guild and their 2024 SXSW Official will mark the band's third consecutive appearance at the festival.
