Presented by Tourism Australia
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have connected to Country through experiences of food, song and shared movement for more than 65,000 years. In this panel, gain meaningful insights into the modern role of food culture, the arts and sport in the world’s oldest continuous culture—told by First Nations Australians breaking ground in their fields in 2023. Presented by Tourism Australia and moderated by Dallas-based, award-winning author Alex Temblador, the panel will discuss the connection between Country and Identity, the power of storytelling in powering and preserving culture, and how panelists are using their platforms to advance a global understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.
