According to McKinsey Institute for Black Economic Mobility, a supportive business ecosystem can mitigate or negate the effects of structural obstacles to business building for Black entrepreneurs- and add $290 billion in business equity. A healthy Black-owned business could be a critical component for closing the USA’s Black-white wealth gap, which project will cost the economy $1 trillion to $1.5 trillion per year by 2028- a $290 billion and growing opportunity to grow overall wealth by achieving revenue parity between Black and White owned businesses.
