Stories by Latino creators and filmmakers are often overlooked, but they’re not nonexistent.

Not only do certain groups not see themselves reflected in the content that’s available, but they also don’t see a path for themselves into a career creating that content.

This panel is designed to inspire emerging filmmakers to have the courage to go after their dream career in film as it poses the question for experienced Latino creatives in the film and entertainment industry: “What was the moment when you seized an opportunity that helped you get to where you are today?” Panelists will take a deep dive into some of their big achievements and will speak about the moment that changed their career trajectory and how taking advantage of these opportunities led them to where they are today.
