With social media as the backdrop, and audio on the rise, we’re moving quickly toward a world built around conversation across countless channels, including those not dependent on screens. That goes for how consumers and brands interact, too. Yet, we still think of design as primarily visual and often overlook the importance of the role of what we say, and the language we use as a tool to communicate, in the context of brand identity development.
Led by R/GA, the forerunners in the creation of a verbal design practice, this masterclass will cover how to approach developing a brand’s verbal design, explore the fundamentals of great verbal design, and discuss how we need to rethink traditional models to scale verbal design, all the while retaining an essential, cohesive core.
