Airports: The Epicenters of the Robot Revolution!

Recording: Airports: The Epicenters of the Robot Revolution!, Date TBA

We’ve just witnessed the greatest explosion in travel the world has ever seen. Airports have been at the epicentre of this – and they have struggled. With long queuing times, challenges with retail outlets, staffing shortages, extensive security lines - passenger satisfaction is at all time low. We know that disruption leads to innovation, so what better moment in time for Airports to become hotbeds for the future of automation & robotics. Airports are, in essence, mini-cities, with intermodal transportation, retail, hospitality, sanitation, people flows, accommodation & more, so this revolution will give us insights into what smart cities really can be in the future, increasing the wider public acceptance & adoption of automation & robotics as it becomes an everyday part of urban living.
