Music As A Tech-Free Experience

Date TBA

In a world where Big Tech has changed the way we experience music, the LP record retains its symbolic power because it speaks to us of something that has gone from our lives, something sacred. As we embrace each new technological distraction, is there still a way to listen to music and know we have nothing better to do? And when that music is performed live, can we listen without reaching for our smartphone? Can 'listening' become a long-form art again?

In this multimedia session, solo artist Tim Arnold explores these questions through song, film and panel discussion. The session features live music, film and a chance for the audience to speak with the panel.
