For years, robotics solutions have supported workers tasked with mundane, repetitive tasks such as vacuuming floors, serving food, and bussing tables. One unintended benefit: they attract customers. As a byproduct of deploying robots, industries have seen a ‘return on experience’ with an uptick in reservations in hotels and an increase in servers’ tips in restaurants. Amid an economic downturn, innovative leaders need to find ways to remain cutting-edge while providing best-in-class service to their customers. In this session, Brady Watkins and Kiyoshi Oka will examine robots from a customer-facing perspective, showing how they can help increase business’ visibility – doing good work, making money and looking cool while doing it.
